Featuring 2 Sheds in Melbourne

Melbourne Men’s Shed came into being from a community desire to have a space for men to meet in the city. The sheds provide a range of activities for both working and retired men, from cards and digital photography to woodwork as well as opportunities to become involved in volunteer work, a walking group, and social activities.

The sheds are an attractive and meaningful space for those of us who have downsized to an inner-city dwelling and yet miss our old garden sheds. It is an opportunity to build friendships, get involved in community projects, share knowledge, and look after our mental health and well-being.

Our two sheds in the city have some unique features when compared to other suburban or regional shed in Victoria.  We operate from two locations, and each shed is housed within a well known or iconic building located within the City of Melbourne.

We are located within the ground floor of the Atira Apartments building.
