THE ROYAL EXHIBITION BUILDING (REB) & CARLTON GARDENS (CG). We now have before us in draft form, a World Heritage Management Plan. Although none of us at Residents 3000 knew about this, a friend living in Fitzroy found a flyer in their letterbox and word got around..thank goodness for friends! Otherwise Heritage Victoria would have been all the less blessed in not having any “pearls” from us! But we shall give them a few pearls whether they anticipated our input or not! And no doubt others will too. So please tell them if you want this to be treasure, preserved for future generations, and/or the Gardens for the passive recreation of citizens every day of the year.
