Residents 3000 is pleased to be partnering with the East Melbourne Group and the Royal Historical Society of Victoria for a special evening exploring Melbourne’s history and heritage.

Guests will have the opportunity to view the new exhibition, The Hoddle Grid: The Great Land Grab, curated by Dr Liz Rushen.

The evening will also include:

  • A presentation on the exhibition and its historical significance
  • A short history of the Royal Historical Society’s Art Deco Drill Hall home
  • Discussion of the building’s heritage significance and future plans

This is a great opportunity for city residents, local history enthusiasts, and members of neighbouring residents’ groups to connect and learn more about Melbourne’s development and heritage.
