The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags were raised outside Town Hall yesterday, 4th July, in the gustiest of conditions! The two young flag raisers did very well with a little help from the Lord Mayor. This ceremony takes place each year to celebrate NAIDOC week.(National Aborigines & Islanders Day Observance Committee).
