  1. Hi everyone,

have just witnessed two very large mirror balls being delivered to 1000 Pound Bend today. Does that mean their liquor licence for the 600 seat restaurant has finally been approved?

    Wendy

  2. Hi , if there are any objectors to the extension of licquor licencing hours applied for by 1000 Pound Bend at 361 Little Lonsdale ST could they lodge their objection by Jan 26. David

    • Hi David – Thanks for this – we have been to many a Panel Hearing haven’t we? I shall walk past today and see what hours they are applying for. So far we haven’t heard any complaints from the neighbours about rowdy street behaviour. Of course “La La Land”just around the corner burnt down unfairly taking a couple of other businesses with it. The neighbours standing by the morning after made comments like “natural justice..”. La La Land was never monitored by City of Melbourne and did whatsoever they liked. The neighbours were sick of the loud banging music emanating from the windows LLL had knocked out in contravention of planning regulations. But I digress….

      • Hi Yolanda and David,

Hi, I just walked past 1000 Pound Bend and the Liquor Licence applications for objections appear to close on 23 December and not 26 January. Is that your take on things anyone? The latest business name for the liquor licence is Rancho Notorious. I think we are up to the 5th or 6th name change for this venue.

        Cheers,
        Wendy
