The Labour Day public holiday attracted huge crowds to Melbourne for its many events and the Moomba parade. Even the weather was sublime….
.. and the King and Queen were in their element. Then…time for coffee and a snack and perhaps some browsing and shopping.Hope everyone made the most of it!

I agree. Best parade for a long, long time! Brilliantly put together with topical and interesting floats… Loved the ‘Taste of Melbourne’ cafe on wheels, with the patrons getting giddy as they rolled down Swanston street. And the Show float was just terrific.
