Like all voluntary, community bodies we rely on the help and support of members. Residents 3000 welcomes input from members and is open to pursuing new issues, campaigns and projects.
To become a member you should be a resident of Melbourne Central Business District (postcode 3000) or of the Docklands/SouthBank area. There are many ways in which you may be able to help, by
- distributing information in your building and /or area;
- providing ideas about issues and potential activities;
- providing expertise in an area of interest to city residents;
- interesting your friends and neighbours in joining R3000; and
- attending our meetings
Please let us know if you have any particular interests or issues. We would like to discuss them with you by e-mail, letter or on the phone. Or through “comments” below each new (or old) Post on our website. Please feel free to disagree!
Annual membership fees :
- Individual $10
- Family membership $20
- or we have a special Owners Corporation membership at $5 per unit up to a maximum of $100 pa (use the printable form). Submitting names and addresses of residents is optional as long as an Owners Corporation Committee contact is named.This person will best be able to represent the collective views of that building.
