Residents 3000 are pleased to invite you to our fourth Forum 3000 of the year, which will be held at the Kelvin Club, 14-30 Melbourne Place (off Russell Street) on Thursday, 1 May 2025, from 6:00pm.
Our guest speakers from the City of Melbourne and Victoria Police work cooperatively on the important issues of safety, street waste and graffiti in public places. They will present updates on their current activities, and insights which explore how city cleanliness and policing interact and relate to perceptions of public safety and amenity for tourists, visitors, workers, and residents living of our city.
- Vince Macolino, Director, Waste and Recycling, City of Melbourne
- Steven Pilinis, Manager, Clean City, City of Melbourne
- Dean Robertson, Director, City Safety Security and Amenity, City of Melbourne
- Arthur Makridis, Acting Sergeant, Neighbourhood Policing, Victoria Police
There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and comments from the audience, to be answered by the guest speakers either during the question-and-answer session or afterwards in the social setting.
This is an event not to be missed for the usual lively debates on how waste collection, graffiti, tagging, general cleanliness and safety can be improved within our city precincts.
