Bowled over by rude dog owners..This opinion piece in The Age about a bike rider exercising a free running dog sparked much debate..

Dogs in the City: There seems to be an increasing number of city dwellers who own dogs, indicating that apartment living does not shut us from such pleasures. Of course we need to be careful in choice of dog size and breed, consulting our owners corporation rules, exercising and controlling our dog, and compliance with local laws with regard to licensing, “cleaning up” and use of a leash.(there are some parks where dogs can be exercised leash-free) Look up the Council website for information and much more….we think “rude” dog owners are in the minority, but hasten to remind ourselves  that our streets are a shared environment for all….
