This is just a reminder that our AGM is happening at the Kelvin Club on Wednesday 26th November 2014 from 5:30pm.
The AGM Agenda is as follows:
5:30 – 6:30pm Registration and membership renewals or acceptance of new members
Guests may like to use the Kelvin Club Members bar before the meeting begins.

Our guest speaker’s profile follows:
Andrew Wailes is the Music Director and Chief Conductor of The Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra (RMP), and is only the second RMP conductor to be awarded Life Membership of the organisation in over 160 years. During his 16 years as conductor of the RMP he has reformed the RMP orchestra, leading it on four international tours to China, he founded the RMP Aria Competition, which is now regarded as one of Melbourne’s most important singing competitions, and has lifted artistic standards, which has resulted in the RMP choir again being regarded as Melbourne’s premier symphonic chorus.
RMP singers are strictly auditioned volunteers who come from all walks of professional life in Melbourne and who give their time freely to rehearse and perform choral music at the highest standard. Many have busy professional careers as doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, public servants, retail managers, administrators and university lecturers, whilst a large number are current or recently graduated music students. RMP singers rehearse once a week throughout the year, and more frequently around major performances. This time of year is particularly busy, and they are preparing for major concerts on December 14 in Melbourne Town Hall and three concerts on 19 and 20 December at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Whilst there is time to register and pay your membership fee at the event, time will be saved if you pay your membership fee beforehand. Remember that only financial members can vote at the meeting.
So … we are suggesting that you press the button below and update your annual membership subscription via the PayPal link where you can pay your $10 – individual or $20 – family (as appropriate) with credit card or PayPal. OR … you can pay by EFT as further below.
If you are unable to renew now then you will need to pay your membership on the night. We will have computers available for you to do this but it is much better and quicker if you update your membership beforehand.
