‘Councillor Watts “was disrespectfull”, then why did he and his fellow councillor followers not show some respect to Clr Jackie Watts and have her motions deferred until the return of absent colleagues.
(if that is the system/their rules).
There was large community presence at the Council meeting on 6/0/11 and the Lord Mayor made it quite clear he was happy with postal voting despite community members citing examples of potential fraud and requesting consideration of attendance voting. Both the Lord Mayor and some Councillors made the rather extraordinary claim of Councillor Watts that she was being disrespectful to the 2 councillors absent from the meeting in putting the 2 motions above to the meeting.That is not something we have heard before!!! What gems are yet to come???
